This applies to Cuba as well. There's this Cuban Province where the residents are exclusively Filipino-descent, I guess.
Admin: really? thats really interesting. But there's no surprise there. Cuba was also part of Nueva Mexico, and Philippines have a good relationship with Cuba. I wonder if thats' the province that was supposed to have been named after Philippines...
well that explains alot..
I've read studies that Filipinos/Malayans and Mexicans/Native Americans are descendants of Polynesians. Polynesians are sea fairing adventurers and there's a theory that Polynesians were the first people who discovered the Americas and not the Nords/Vikings.
Then there's the Indians x Chinese (the sexy yaoi theory if you're a Hetalia fan) here it explains that the Malayans are the product of Indians and Chinese/Mongoloids that copulate in the distant past and Franz Boas added that the Native americans/Alaskans/South americans are closely if not part of the Mongoloid race.
Admin: I've seen documentary about that at NatGeo or history channel. I think theres a huge chance that could be true. Even when I was a kid, Ive always thought native Americans and Polynesians look a lot alike.
